Fact 1: Did you know that in the early days of Frozen Anna and Elsa weren’t event sisters? Elsa was original evil complete with blue skin! The decision was made to rework Elsa’s character once the song Let It Go was written!
Fact 2: Hidden Mickeys! Looking for Hidden Mickey’s isn’t an activity just limited to the theme parks. Everyone’s favorite Mouse actually makes a couple of appearances in the Frozen films. Look closely and see if you can find him.
Fact 3: Did you know the aesthetic of the Frozen films was inspired by another Disney classic? Animators turned to the artwork of Eyvind Earle, more specifically his work in Sleeping Beauty. The color palette in Frozen was modelled after the colors in this original animated classic. Designers also drew inspiration from the film when coming up with the look of the enchanted forest in Frozen 2.
Fact 4: Speaking of colors. Each of the four elements in the film is represented by a different hue. Earth is a dark purplish-blue, Wind is light blue, Fire is hot magenta and Water is Cyan!
Fact 5: Creating Nokk took animators 8 months. the mane and tail were made to mimic the crashing waves complete with mist and bubbles.
