The Updates Continue
A day after his initial tweet regarding his diagnosis, Hanks shared another tweet with a photo of he and wife Rita Wilson. He provided an update and thanked everyone “Down Under who are taking such good care of us.”
Hanks also reminded us that “there is no crying in baseball.” An ode to his hit film, “A League of Their Own.”
Channeling Mr. Rogers
On March 15, Hanks posted on Twitter, “Thanks to the Helpers. Let’s take care of ourselves and each other. Hanx”.
One of Mr. Rogers’ most famous quotes is, ““When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”

Look at That Typewriter!
Hanks went on Twitter today with yet another update. In it, he describes his symptons as, “much the same. No fever but the blahs.”
The photos is of an old-fashioned Corona typewriter. What are the chances he really brought that with him to Australia?!
