‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ Stalled Due to Coronavirus
In an endless cycle of Coronavirus news, production on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has been stalled. Deadline reports that the series, which has been filming in Prague, is delayed due to Coronavirus concerns. The Czech Republic currently has 41 confirmed cases of Caronavirus according to Johns Hopkins University. At this time, there have been no reported deaths in the area related to the illness. These precautions are in addition to the existing school closings and travel limitations in Prague.
The Avengers spin-off has filmed most of the show in Atlanta. According to the Deadline report, the cast and crew have been asked to return to Atlanta. It is not confirmed if filming will resume, though in light of recent travel restrictions this may not be likely. For now, we will keep our ears open for any new information that is released.
