Runaway Railway Opens This Morning at 8 am To Massive Crowds – No Early Entry

Good Morning! Our MickeyBlogger is live on the scene at Runaway Railway this morning! There was no early entry for this much-loved attraction going into Saturday (March 7, 2020.) Instead, guests were forced to congregate in front of the Chinese Theater before queuing opened up for the ride.

Here’s a look at the sizable weekend crowd!

The scene was pretty similar to get into the front gates at Hollywood Studios this morning for an official 8 am opening.

Guests were forced into switchbacks before the line official opened around 7:45 am. The doors of the Chinese Theater remained closed until this time.

Once the ride opened, the Stand-By Line immediately went to 150 minutes. Still long but shorter than the 300 minutes we saw on opening day!

To make sure the line moved more efficiently, Cast Members were letting guests move to the side to form groups. If you wanted to ride with your group, stand-alone guests were moved through to the line.

Our clever MickeyBlogger made the most of his time in line this morning to get a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance! This is actually an awesome quick tip and a great way to ensure that you can enjoy both attractions during your visit!
