Get a First Look At the Festival Passport For The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
Though most of the attention yesterday was taken up by the grand opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Hollywood Studios, it was also the opening day of the much-loved Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. From now until the beginning of June, EPCOT theme park is in full bloom with stunning topiaries, breathtaking floral displays, awesome eats, hands-one workshops, tours, concerts and awesome eats and treats.
To give you a taste of all that EPCOT’s Spring fest has to offer, our MickeyBlogger was on the scene today and captured some photos of this year’s Festival Passport. Check it out!
This year’s Passport features a bright red strawberry set against a beautiful blue backdrop.
Guests can add your photo to the front of the passport and this page also offers some helpful hints on must-dos during your EPCOT visit!

Who says the Flower & Garden Festival is just for grown-ups! Kids can have an incredible time with awesome playgrounds, special activities and even kid-approved eats!
For those looking to delve a bit more in-depth into Epcot and the Festival, there are a handful of awesome tours worth checking out! One of our favorites is the Royal Tea Garden Tour at the UK Pavilion complete with tea and scones!
Next up is the hotly anticipated Garden Rocks concert series. With three performances throughout the day, guests can head to the American Gardens Theatre in the World Showcase to check out some awesome acts from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s!
Next, we move on to one of our favorite things about the Flower & Garden Festival – the incredible merchandise. Be sure to bring you Disney dollars to stock up on awesome items including everything from Spirit Jerseys and Mickey ears to housewares, handbags and more!

Each year we head over to the German Pavilion where the festival marketplaces serve up some pretty delicious treats. We recommend the toasted pretzel bread with ham and Gruyere!
Since the premiere of Frozen 2 last year one of Disney’s biggest color trends has been Arendelle Aqua! You can get it at Block & Hans in the American Pavilion in lemonade form!
NEW for this year is Magnolia Terrace specializing in low-country cooking! You’ll find everything here from a Seafood Broil to Pralines!
One of the dishes kids are sure to love is the Frushi back by popular demand at the Japan Pavilion. These fruit sushi dishes are sweet, aromatic, delightful and a perfect sushi introduction!
One of the highlights of a visit to the Canada Pavilion is the chance to sample their maple popcorn – which has a bit of a cult-like following in Disney circles! During the Flower & Garden Festival you can even get it in milkshake form!
Those needing to fuel up should look no further than Joffrey’s Coffee. Each year, during Festival time, in addition to amazing coffees, they also serve up some pretty tasty libations!
Yesterday we told you a bit about the measures Disney is taking to eliminate the amount of waste the festival generates by offering a reusable fork fashioned after Spike! You can find out more here.
We also told you this week about EPCOT’s new Garden Graze option allowing guests to pre-pay for plant-based treats around the Festival. You can collect stickers and even get a special treat for completing the graze. Find out more here.
