Exclusive Poster Series Celebrates Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is officially open for business! Guests can no experience Mickey’s wild cartoon world like never before! It’s pure Disney magic as visitors enter an actual Mickey Mouse cartoon short – “Perfect Picnic”
Since last Summer, the momentum has been slowly building around this highly-anticipated attraction. To keep our excitement at fever pitch, Imagineers shared special sneak peeks of the fun posters of the existing award-winning Mickey Mouse shorts that might have previously premiered at the Chinese Theater. We thought, with the opening of the attraction, this would be a fitting day to provide you with a bit of a re-cap of the awesome artwork!
We thought we’d start off with a poster celebrating the premiere of Mickey and Minnie’s latest cartoon short “Perfect Picnic.”
We’re continuing our ongoing countdown series with special art inspired by the “Wonders of the Deep” short.
We love this “Potatoland” poster features Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck at the entrance of a one-of-a-kind theme park! In the video short, Mickey and Donald try to make Goofy’s dream come true by building a surprise theme park made out of potatoes!
This colorful “Yodelberg” poster features Mickey yearning to visit Minnie at her mountain chalet. In the video short, Mickey realizes that an avalanche and some additional surprises threaten to put an end to their yodelling duet.
Check out this poster of Mickey speeding through Paris! In the video short, Minnie’s cafe runs out of croissants and Mickey goes on a wild ride filled with surprises of course to deliver her treats!
Here’s Mickey driving a jolly elephant on his rickshaw. We think you’ll agree that this ride through Mumbai is anything but ordinary as Mickey embarks on an epic journey of a lifetime.
The “Tokyo Go” poster features a look at Mickey holding on tight aboard one of Japan’s speedy commuter trains. In the video short, you’ll notice that Mickey doesn’t share dialogue – No words are needed in this madcap cartoon adventure!
Split Decision” features two very different Donalds! In the video short, Mickey takes Donald Duck to Professor Von Drake’s lab to cure his temper. If it were only that easy!
The “Three-Legged Race” poster features Mickey and Pete competing in a big race after Minnie chooses to partner with Daisy. As you can see in the cartoon video short, Mickey wants to win “fair and square” but that’s a little too “honest” for Pete!
The “Wish Upon a Coin” poster – inspired by Mickey’s popular cartoon short – Mickey and Minnie are at the wishing well. What do you think they’re wishing for!?
