A New Guided Tour Is Coming to Animal Kingdom
With March officially here, we here at MickeyBlog are setting our sights on Spring! That’ means that this year’s Animal Kingdom Earth Day celebration is just around the corner. This is a very special Earth Day as it also marks the 25th anniversary of the Disney Conservation Fund!
For that reason, Animal Kingdom will be introducing a few celebratory treats for visitors and we’ve got details on one of them! Disney just announced that they will be offering a new – “A Path Less Traveled Tour” during Earth Month.

During this “onstage” walking tour, guests will learn more about all of the authentic details that go into this incredible park. Animal care experts will also be on hand to share insights as to how Disney cares for the hundreds of animals in the park and steps that the company is taking to save wildlife species worldwide.
This limited-time tour is the perfect way to get a wee glimpse of what it takes to bring the animals, culture and conservation together to create this magical theme park!
The cost for the “A Path Less Traveled Tour” is $69.00 (plus tax) per guest. Annual Passholders and DVC members get a 15% discount. Check-in for the tours starts at 7:45 am and the tour runs from 8 am – 10 am daily. Tours are bookable from March 29, 2020 – May 2, 2021 (with the exception of April 21, 2020.) All guests should be 10 years of age or older to participate. A valid Animal Kingdom theme park ticket is required and not included in the cost!
Spots can be reserved for this limited-time tour by reaching out to your travel agent or calling 407.WDW.PLAY. Alternatively, you can visit the Curiosity Animal Tours kiosk at the park (located across from Kilimanjaro Safaris) during park hours!
