Head To Hundred Acre Wood With This Awesome New LEGO Set

If there’s one thing that we love just about as much as we love Disney it’s LEGO! Last week we shared with you an incredible Spaceship Earth that someone had created out of Lego blocks and today we’re here to let you know that Winnie the Pooh and friends are going to be getting their own Lego playsets!

That’s right! According to a recent post on Moms.com, Disney and LEGO will be producing Winnie the Pooh themed sets for preschoolers and kids!

Similar to the Spaceship Earth project we featured last week, the Winnie the Pooh playset was featured on the LEGO Ideas website and earlier this month LEGO announced that the project was approved and they were going forward with production as a LEGO Ideas set!

The final design, pricing, and release date are still being worked out!

The creator Ben Alder is from Suffolk England and can be seen above displaying his design! As you can see from the images above, the proposed set features Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Piglet, Eeyore and of course Winnie the Pooh.

In a recent interview with LEGO Ideas, Ben was asked how the idea for the set came about. He said, “I love Winnie the Pooh and remember my parents reading it to me as a child. I now read the same Winnie the Pooh stories to my children, so it is certainly something dear to my heart. I decided to make the set so that my children could bring to life our bedtime stories but never quite expected everyone to be so kind about it.”
