Ways That Young Adults Can Have a Magical Time at Disneyland Resort
There’s a misconception that a visit to Disneyland Resort is only for kids and parents! There is actually so much for young adults to do that we thought with Spring Break and Valentine’s Day just around the corner we’d give you a bit of holiday inspiration.
So plan a Disneyland long weekend with your friends or special someone and be sure to give the following activities a try!
Incredicoaster – During your visit to Disney California Adventure, be sure to head over to Pixar Pier and hop on the Incredicoaster for a high-speed thrilling ride! You’ll launch at high speeds and even loops high in the sky during your mission to catch Jack-Jack.
Toy Story Midway Mania!- And while you’re in Pixar Pier don’t forget to hop on an old favorite- Toy Story Midway Mania. See who can get the high score as you twirl and whip through the various midway games featuring your favorite Toy Story friends.
Games of Pixar Pier – Just getting warmed up? You’ll find more competitive fun at the Pixar-themed Midway Games at Pixar Pier.
Animation Academy – Think you have what it takes to be a Disney artist? You can test out your skill at this fun workshop in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure where you’ll be given a tutorial on how to draw some of Disney’s much-loved characters.
Soarin’ – For a limited time only, visitors will have the chance to enjoy the Soarin’ you remembered as a kid! Soarin’ Over California will be returning to the park for a limited time beginning February 28th.
World of Color – Be sure to hang out at California Adventure well into the evening for the stunning World of Color water pageant. Watch as water, fire, light and music combine for a dazzling nighttime spectacular like nothing you’ve ever experienced before.
Savi’s Workshop – Next we adventure over to Disneyland and more specifically Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge where fans of the franchise can enjoy picking out your own customized lightsaber. With some many incredible options to choose from, it’s the ultimate Disney souvenir.
Rise of the Resistance – A visit to Disneyland wouldn’t be complete without a ride on Disney’s most state-of-the-art attraction to date. You’ll find yourself in a First Order Star Destroyer and come face to face with Supreme Leader Kylo Ren on this intergalactic adventure!
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – If you had childhood dreams of piloting the “fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy” you can make those dreams a reality with Smuggler’s Run. Assembler your own crew of engineers, gunners and pilots and get ready to take control of this iconic ship.
“Mickey’s Mix Magic”- This nighttime high-energy projection show at Disneyland theme park is sure to dazzle. Watch as iconic buildings throughout the park come to life in an unbelievable display of color, music and characters! As a special treat, visit during the weekend and you’ll see pyrotechnics added in!
Save Big! – As if all of the awesome activities above weren’t incentive enough, from now through May 18, Southern California Residents can visit Disneyland Resort for just $67 per day with the purchase of a three-day, one-park-per-day ticket!
