Breaking News: Ticketing System Malfunction Leaves Guests Seeing Blue
Currently the ticketing system is down at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Long lines of guests are seeing “blue” as they try to scan their MagicBands and enter the park.
Cast members have reverted to the I-pad system as lines lengthen. This system requires cast members to take guests’ photos before entering the park. The I-pads function as scanners for tickets and MagicBands and require photos in lieu of a guest placing his/her finger on the biometric scanner.
Guests are being told by cast members that “the system is shut down” and “they are working to get it back up”. However, the signature Mickey ear scanners are surprisingly quiet.
Guest satisfaction is of upmost importance to Disney and their customer service is world renown. Rest assured guests will be compensated for their wait and will continue with their most magical night.
