Catching Up On Canon – Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Video games are really not my thing.
As a father of three and someone who is at least a little hand-eye deficient, it’s not a lot of fun to get obliterated by a computer or 11-year-olds online. However, as a Star Wars canon completist, I am working my way through all of the comics, TV series, books, etc.
Of course, that leaves gaming as my blind spot.
However, thank The Maker for Star Wars Explained. They do a much better job of explaining all of this than I could. So, let me get you to their tutelage.
What, Exactly, is “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order”?
Breaking it down to brass tacks, let’s start from the begging and the Star Wars Mother Ship’s explanation:
November 15, 2019 will be a day long remembered by Star Wars fans, as it will see the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, marking the first new solely single-player game from a galaxy far, far away in nearly a decade. While the last ten years have offered ample opportunity to fire blasters and swing lightsabers in the video game space, from LEGO Star Wars to Star Wars Battlefront and beyond, they typically focused on co-op missions or competitive fun.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a different beast. The narrative-focused, character-driven, action-adventure game invites solo players to get lost in a totally original tale, starring a brand-new, Force-sensitive protagonist.
And from there, here are a couple of Star Wars Explained’s videos on the subject.
