Get Ready for 50 Years of Magic at Walt Disney World with This New Retro Spirit Jersey
Can you believe that next year, in 2021, we will be celebrating 50 years of magic at Walt Disney World?! That’s right, October 1, 2021 will mark 50 years since Walt Disney World opened its doors and started creating magical memories for families around the world. To get us ready for the big celebration, Disney has just released a new retro spirit jersey that looks like it was taken straight out of the 70s and put into our lives in the 2020s!
We spotted the retro Disney spirit jersey at Big Top Souvenirs in the Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom. However, I would imagine it will also pop at other locations including the World of Disney in Disney Springs and the temporary Mouse Gear location in Epcot.
The retro Disney spirit jersey features a white background with bright “Walt Disney World” in bubble letters on the back. On the front, you will see the iconic “D” for Disney with Cinderella Castle and the year Walt Disney World opened, 1971. The jersey is priced at $69.99 plus tax.
