Tom Hiddleston Shares Sneak Peek Of Prep for Disney+’s Upcoming Loki Series

Loki himself, Tom Hiddleston, took to Instagram this week to give fans a quick look at the cast rehearsing their stunts for the upcoming small-screen addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

In December, Hiddleston revealed preproduction had officially begun by sharing another photo of himself with the series’ producer Kevin Wright and director Kate Herron.

Disney and Marvel are being tight-lipped about plot details for the series but it’s expected to follow the incarnation of Loki from the alternate 2012 timeline that escaped with the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame. Time travel is expected to factor heavily in the series with the Asgardian God of Mischief visitng key historical events throughout the MCU.
Loki is expected to premiere on Disney+ sometime in spring 2021. Rick & Morty writer Michael Waldron will write the series along with Sex Education‘s Kate Herron directing all the episodes.
