Character Dining Price Increase At Walt Disney World
A new year means inevitable price increases at Walt Disney World so its no surprise that news broke this week that Disney has increased the cost of the ever-popular character dining meals on offer at the theme parks and resorts.
Our MickeyBlogger has been on the scene at Walt Disney World all week and it would appear that character dining meals have increased by a few dollars per adult and around a dollar for children.
Online, Disney has always given a pricing range on their character meals so its difficult to notice a discernible change but character dining regulars are quick to pick up on the slight increase.
Various sources are reporting that changes can be found at the following properties:
- 1900 Park Fare – Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
- Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast -Trattoria al Forno- Disney’s Boardwalk Inn
- Cape May Cafe – Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Chef Mickey’s – Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- ‘Ohana -Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Storybook Dining – Artist’s Point- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Akershus Royal Banquet at Epcot
- Garden Grill
- Crystal Palace
- Hollywood & Vine
- Tusker House
Occasional price hikes aren’t anything unusual for Walt Disney World. As a matter of fact last year we saw an increase in ticket pricing, resort room pricing as well as increases to the refillable resort mugs. No word yet as to whether these character dining increases are indicative of increased prices at other Disney Table Service and Quick Service restaurants but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more!
