Saying Goodbye To Star Wars Resistance
It might be the quietest entry and departure for any of the Star Wars animated shows.
That’s not meant to be pejorative, but with only two seasons, the Emmy-nominated Star Wars Resistance had a job to do — bridging the gap between The Force Awakens/The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker — and simply landed that X-wing. However, in the wake of the end of Resistance, there are a lot of fans who feel just a little lesser about their Sunday nights.
Count voice actors Christopher Sean [Kaz] and Suzie McGrath [Tam] among that number.
Goodbye Kaz and Tam
StarWars.com’s Kristen Baver reported:
The actor, who voices Tam Ryvora on Star Wars Resistance, has watched her character spend the show’s second and final season estranged from her friends aboard the Colossus and training inside the cockpit of a First Order TIE fighter. Now, as we prepare for the series finale this Sunday, McGrath and her co-star Christopher Sean say there are still plenty of surprises and emotional twists to come.
An Emotional Roller Coaster
Without spoiling the ending, that description was on point. And while the finale didn’t provide the breakneck moments that, say, the closing scenes of the Star Wars Rebels, it did round out the series’ story satisfactorily.
Baver explained:
It’s been an emotional roller coaster for Sean [Kaz], he says. “I came in just trying to be this leader and the great part about it is Season Two allows for that to happen. Kaz quickly grows into that role. He’s very aware of himself and his team and how important it is to get back to Tam. He’s adamant about getting her back.”

Still here? Good.
I highly recommend Star Wars Resistance, especially because it does give information about the non-Skywalker part of the Sequel Trilogy.
AND, there’s good news ahead for fans of the pilots on the show.
“‘Well, one thing we do know is that among the 14,000 ships that arrive with #LandoCalrissian over Exegol in #StarWars: #TheRiseofSkywalker are the Fireball, Jarek Yeager’s racer, and Torra Doza’s ship,’ says Pablo Hidalgo of the Lucasfilm Story Group.”https://t.co/2AeVtpaNIa pic.twitter.com/23UJOaW7K2
