Disney Fantasy Announces Modified January 25th Itinerary
Passengers getting ready to set sail on the Disney Fantasy tomorrow (Saturday, January 25) are being notified that due to a technical issue their itinerary is being modified. It is unknown at this time what the specific technical issue the Disney Fantasy is experiencing, only that is causing the ship to sail at a reduced speed. Because of the slower speed, Disney Cruise Line has decided to eliminate Tortola from the itinerary and they will visit San Juan instead.

Tortola – Disney Cruise Line
From Disney:
*****
Thank you for choosing a Disney Cruise Line vacation for your clients. We are contacting you with important information about their upcoming Saturday, January 25, sailing onboard the Disney Fantasy. Your assistance in communicating this information is appreciated.
The Disney Fantasy is currently experiencing a technical issue that requires the ship to sail at a reduced speed. The ship is operating safely and will be back to full speed by Tuesday. However, we will need to modify your cruise’s itinerary. As a result, the Disney Fantasy will no longer call on Tortola on Tuesday, January 28. The port has been replaced with a call to the beautiful Port of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
- Below is the modified itinerary:
- Saturday, January 25: Port Canaveral
- Sunday, January 26: At Sea
- Monday, January 27: At Sea
- Tuesday, January 28: San Juan (previously Tortola)
- Wednesday, January 29: St. Thomas
- Thursday, January 30: At Sea
- Friday, January 31: Castaway Cay
- Saturday, February 1: Port Canaveral
Pre-reserved Port Adventures in Tortola will automatically be removed from Guests’ cruise plans and we will try to re-accommodate Guests with excursions in San Juan. Any pre-reserved services at Palo, Remy, It’s A Small World Nursery and Senses Spa will also remain as originally scheduled.
As a gesture of goodwill, and to thank Guests for their understanding, we will be providing each stateroom with a $150 onboard credit.
