Magic Kingdom Warns of Adjustments To Evening Fireworks Due to Bad Weather
The weather in Orlando continues to be cold and windy throughout the afternoon prompting Disney to begin posting warnings at the Magic Kingdom that the evening “Happily Ever After” fireworks display may be impacted!
Our MickeyBlogger is on the scene and noticed the following notifications going up throughout the Plaza Gardens area of Magic Kingdom.
It’s not surprising given that cold snap that most of Florida is feeling right now!
According to radar, a wind advisory is currently in place in Orlando until 7pm this evening. Guests in the area are reporting strong winds and rough waves on the lakes.
In addition to the potential changes that will need to be made to the “Happily Ever After” fireworks this evening, we previously reported here on MickeyBlog that Blizzard Beach remained closed for a second day today due to the cold temperatures.
The current temperature in Walt Disney World as of going to print was a mild yet windy 54°. Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for the latest Walt Disney World weather updates!
