BREAKING: Guest Forgets He Had Gun When Entering Magic Kingdom
Authorities apprehended a gun that a Missouri man forgot he had on him when trying to enter the Magic Kingdom on December 28, 2019.
According to reports released today by the Orange County Sheriff’s office, a 35-year-old man and his 34-year-old wife told Disney security they had the unloaded pistol during bag screening around 9 a.m. on Dec. 28 when they were trying to visit the park with their 4-year-old daughter.

The gun was a black Ruger LCP .380 which was inside a carrying bag, inside a purse, zipped inside a backpack.
“He had bought the gun for his wife to carry as protection a couple years ago,” the incident report said. “They apologized stating they forgot to leave it in the hotel room and asked if they could secure the gun somewhere in the park … They forgot the gun was in the purse when they left to come on the family vacation because they have 18 family members attending the trip and had many bags.”
The couple both said they had concealed weapon permits from Missouri although the sheriff’s office could not verify it.
The couple was not arrested nor band from the park, instead the sheriff’s office held onto the gun.
“They felt it was a mistake on the part of the guest and were satisfied with taking the weapon for safekeeping,” the sheriff’s report said.
