Exciting Experiences and Attractions Coming to Disney Parks Around the World in 2020
Welcome to 2020! 2020 is already shaping up to be a magical year at Disney Parks around the World with exciting new experiences and attractions scheduled to make their debut. Below are the highlights of what Guests will be treated to when they visit their favorite park this year.
Coming to Disneyland Resort in 2020
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
If the crowds and the hype at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World for the Rise of the Resistance ride is any indication, this might be the most-anticipated opening of the year. The attraction will open at Disneyland Park on January 17, 2020.
New Magic Happens Parade
On February 28, 2020 the brand-new daytime parade, Magic Happens, will debut at Disneyland Park.
Avengers Campus
As we recently reported, Avengers Campus will begin recruiting superheroes at Disney California Adventure Park in Summer 2020.

Coming to Walt Disney World in 2020
Three New Films Debut at Epcot
On January 17, 2020, three new films will make their debut at Epcot. They are Awesome Planet which will be located in The Land Pavilion, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along which will be located in The France Pavilion, and Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 which will be located in The Canada Pavilion.
Space 220 Restaurant
One of the most-anticipated restaurant openings in all of the Disney Parks for 2020 is the Space 220 Restaurant at Epcot. This restaurant will treat Guests to a one-of-a-kind experience as they travel to space via special elevators to enjoy their dining experience. An exact opening date has yet to be announced we are reporting that this restaurant some time in February.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on March 4, 2020 is the new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction. This might be what I am personally looking to the most at Disney Parks in 2020!
Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil & Dinsey
Coming to Disney Springs in 2020 is the all-new Cirque du Soleil show, Drawn to Life. The show will begin previews on March 20, 2020 and officially premiere on April 17, 2020.
Harmonious Nighttime Spectacular
Another new nighttime spectacular will debut in Epcot in 2020. Harmonious, will replace the short run of Epcot’s current nighttime spectacular, Epcot Forever.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Also opening at Epcot in 2020 is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Opening in the Summer of this year, the attraction is based on a popular attraction at another Disney Park, Disneyland Paris , and the hit Disney-Pixar Film.
Disney Genie
Many details have not yet been released, but the Disney Genie is being hailed as a game changer when it comes to digital technology at Walt Disney World.

Tokyo Disneyland
“New Fantasyland”
At Disney Parks overseas, a “New Fantasyland” is set to open in 2020 at Tokyo Disneyland. The new Land will feature the Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast attraction and indoor Fantasyland Forest Theater set to make its premiere on April 15, 2020.
