Rise of the Resistance: Disneyland Cast Members To Ride First
Today, Brady MacDonald of The OCR reported that Disneyland cast members will be first to queue up for “Rise of the Resistance.”

- [C]ast members just got an early present under the Christmas tree. The 31,000 employees will be the first to experience Rise of the Resistance at the Anaheim theme park.
- [Early in 2020] Disneyland cast members will preview the new Rise of the Resistance attraction on Jan. 8-17, according to Disney officials.
- The Rise of the Resistance attraction debuting Jan. 17 at Disneyland in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge themed land combines four ride experiences into one.

Of the ride itself, MacDonald added:
[The ride] puts visitors in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance. Rey will recruit visitors to join the Resistance and fight the First Order in a dangerous off-planet mission. Along the way, the recruits will be captured aboard a Star Destroyer, break out of a First Order detention cell, elude the clutches of Kylo Ren and escape back to a secret base on the Star Wars planet of Batuu.
