Time Names Disney’s Bob Iger Businessperson of the Year
Time Magazine named Bob Iger Businessperson of the Year, but all I can focus on is the super cute illustration (by Tim O’Brien) of Iger with Baby Yoda! I just can’t seem to get enough of that little guy… the struggle is real.
Disney has had a very busy year so it’s no surprise Bob Iger has been named Time’s Businessperson of the year 2019, which I’m sure makes Mickey Mouse and the gang very proud.
The huge success of the Disney+ streaming service, which launched last month, opening Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and the record breaking ticket sales for Frozen 2 are just a few of his recent triumphs.
Bob Iger, 68 has been making magic at Disney as CEO Since 2005. Rumors have been circulating for a quite a while that Iger may retire soon.
However, it doesn’t seem like he plans on slowing down anytime soon. Which is great news for Disney fans because I have no doubt 2020 will be another year full of Disney magic.
