And the Winner of the 2019 Disney Cruise Line Gingerbread House Competition Is…
2019 marks the sixth year of Disney Cruise Line’s Annual Gingerbread Competition! And we are happy to announce that the ship that has won this year’s contest is the Disney Fantasy!
Award winning Gingerbread House aboard the Disney Fantasy
For the past six years, Disney Cruise Line’s shipboard teams have gone above and beyond to make their oversized gingerbread houses better than ever. As you can see from these photos, this year was no exception.
Combined, Disney Cruise Line gingerbread house teams used 650 pounds of gingerbread dough, 220 pounds of icing sugar, 5250 gingerbread bricks and a ton of candy to create these masterpieces. While the Disney Fantasy is the winner of all four ships, all of the gingerbread houses are absolutely magical!
A huge congratulations to the Disney Fantasy! And a job well done to the pastry, bakery chefs, and deck teams on the Disney Dream, Disney Magic, and Disney Wonder as well!
