Get a First Look at the Passport for the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays
The Festival of the Holidays kicked off today and will be running until December 30th! One of our favorite of Epcot’s incredible festivals, our MickeyBlogger couldn’t wait to check out this year’s offerings and share with you a sneak peek of the fun that awaits!
Let’s start with a look at the Festive of the Holidays Passport:
Back for this year are the passport stamps which you can add to your collection as you ticket off important festival activities.
Page 1 gives a quick overview of the highlights of this year’s festival.
Here’s a listing of activities that kids are sure to enjoy!
NEW! for this year is the Holiday Cookie Stroll where you can sample an array of Christmas Cookies and even get a special surprise cookie at the end!
Here’s a quick glimpse of some of the awesome merchandise and delicious dishes that await visitors.
The passport also comes with a helpful checklist of all of the areas you’ll want to be sure to check out during your visit.
New for this year, be sure to go on an evening journey of Living with the Land now adorned with festive holiday touches and lots of glimmering lights!
Here’s a closer look at some of the exclusive merchandise you’ll find at this year’s Fest. (Keep following along with MickeyBlog for a closer look at some of this year’s awesome items.)
Now let’s get into our favorite part – The Food! The list of Holiday Kitchen menu kicks off with the tasty treats at Feast of the Three Kings.
Those with a sweet tooth won’t want to miss a stop at Holiday Sweets and Treats! We’ve got our eyes on the Chocolate Peppermint Shake!
Head over to the Mexican Pavilion for an incredible stay show featuring dancer, a mariachi band, pinatas and more!
Trust us when we say that the Festival Rice Pudding at Kringla Bakery Og Kafe is a blissful taste of Winter!
Don’t miss the Chinese Lion Dancers at the China Pavilion. Each year this Lunar New Year Celebrate is a real crowd-pleaser!
We are so excited about checking out Master Glassblower Reinhard Herzog who will be on hand to create mouth-blown glass ornaments!
NEW! for this year is Chilli Da Mur at the Germany Pavilion. This German vocal group will be celebrating the season with folk and pop music to put you in the festive mood!
When visiting Germany you’ll also want to be sure to bring your appetite for the cheese fondue bread bowl – Yummy!
One of our favorite holiday storytellers each year is La Befana- the Christmas witch who visits sleeping young children on the Eve of the Epiphany.
Be sure to pop by the American Pavilion to let Santa and Mrs. Claus know whether you’ve been naughty or nice and pose for photos!
Next to its time to take a look at the stickers for this year’s passport!
We love the beautiful hues of Gold and Blue!
Here’s a look at a few more of the delicious treats you’ll find at the Holiday Kitchens.
Treat yourself to Christmas Dinner with American Holiday Table’s Hand Carved Smoked Ham complete with green beans and a sweet potato casserole.
Next is the program line-up for this year’s Candlelight Processional performances also taking place a few times each evening at the Festival of the Holidays.
One of the dishes that we’re most excited about this year is the Chirashi Sushi Tree which features Tuna, Salmon, Ikura and Yellowtail in the shape of a Christmas Tree!
As you make your way around the World Showcase be sure to check out Matbouka Groove a festive musical act that recreates the fun of Moroccan street festivals.
Between Morocco and France, you’ll find a fun Hanukkah Celebration.
Here’s a sample of the delicious treats you’ll find at the L’Chaim Holiday Kitchen.
While enjoying the festivities in the France Pavilion be sure to head over to L’artisan Des Glaces to sample their delicious gingerbread ice cream.
One of our favorite Festival storytellers is Father Christmas who is on hand at the United Kingdom to spread good cheer!
Head over to the Canada Pavilion for a snack so delicious its almost Epcot – The Pecan Maple Bark made with Maple Sugar!
Coffee Lovers won’t want to miss the delicious seasonal drinks being served up at their kiosks located throughout the parks!
