The 2019 Holiday Season is Shaping Up at Walt Disney World
With only two days until Thanksgiving, tis the season to explore all of Walt Disney World’s beloved holiday festivities. This year brings the perfect mix of time-honored traditions like the Candlelight Processional as well as new offerings like the magical wintry transformation over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
For the first time, Animal Kingdom is getting in the Holiday spirit big time! Each of the lands will feature seasonal decor and Discovery Island will serve as a festive wintry hub with decorations, puppetry and so much more! Also, be sure to stay after the sun sets for a special wintry version of Tree of Life Awakenings featuring touching holiday vignettes! Kids will also love the colorful fun over at Dinoland U.S.A where Donald, Chip ‘n’ Dale and more will be celebrating the season!
Disney’s Magic Kingdom
No one does the holidays quite like Magic Kingdom. Santa’s on hand to meet with guests, Elsa uses her icy powers to light up Cinderella Castle and there’s even snow on Main Street! Also, be sure to nab your party tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party while they’re still available for an evening brimming with festive fun! Oh and bring your appetites for an impressive array of eats and treats!
Epcot
The day after Thanksgiving, Epcot kicks off its International Festival of the Holidays celebration. You can learn more about how the holidays are celebrated around the world, enjoy incredible holiday eats at the Holiday Kitchens and take in a stunning retelling of the first Christmas during the much-loved Candlelight Processional. You’ll also want to hang out into the night to check out the new “Epcot Forever” fireworks display! New for this year, the Living with the Land attraction will also be adding in some festive touches!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios during the holidays has a little bit of everything! Enjoy the quirky decorations as you play in Andy’s backyard at Toy Story Land! Head over to Sunset Boulevard at night to check out the stunning Sunset Seasons Greetings! This breathtaking Yuletide Experience boasts amazing projection special effects, lasers and falling snow! While you’re at it, be sure to stick around for the larger-than-life “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” nighttime spectacular offering a festive storyline, awesome special effects and dazzling pyrotechnics! You can even enhance your visit with the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Dessert Party which offers an unbelievable array of sweet and savory treats and perfect sightlines for the evening show!
Florida Resident Ticket Savings
As a special holiday treat, Florida Residents can save 40% on 4-Day Theme Park Tickets and 30% on 3-Day Theme Park Tickets! The 4-day tickets will expire 7-days after activation and the 3-Day Tickets expire 5-days after activation!
