Black Spire outpost is the perfect place for teens to ride, dine, explore and unleash your inner Sith Lord or Jedi master for a day of out-of-this-world fun! For those looking for a bit of inspiration here are seven experiences that you won’t want to miss!
Craft a Customized Lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop
Located Savi’s hidden workshop on the planet of Batuu and you and your friends can build your own one-of-a-kind lightsabers! A group of helpers called the “Gatherers” will be on hand to walk you through the process. Our favorite part is selecting the kyber crystal that will accompany your hilt!
Enjoy a Memorable Meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
For some truly unique grub head over to Docking Bay 7 where Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs mixes up some space-aged fare! For breakfast one of our favorites is the Mustafarian Laval Roll. Later in the day, be sure to sample the Fried Endorian Tip-Yip featuring crispy chicken, roasted vegetables, potato mash and herb gravy. Also, save room for a dessert of Batuu-bon chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse and coffee custard!
Dance and Drink to the Beats at Oga’s Cantina
Though Oga Garra is Blutopian crime boss, her cantina is a haven featuring delicious drinks, awesome entertainment and some pretty interesting regulars! For non-alcoholic beverage options our favorites are the Carbon Freeze, Jabba Juice or the Blue Bantha.
Quick Tip: Oga’s Cantina now accepts reservations up to 60 days in advance.
Stock Up On Galactic Treasures at Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities
Pop by Dok’s where you can pick up some unique artefacts harnessed from around the galaxy. This shop is an absolute treasure trove of interesting Star Wars merchandise including jewellery, ancient tools, rare kyber crystals, statues and more.
Enhance Your Visit With the Star Wars: Datapad on Play Disney Parks Mobile App
Make sure you have the Play Disney Parks app installed on your smartphone for some next-level Star Wars fun. Using the Star Wars datapad, you and your friends can hack, scan, translate and tune into satellite frequencies at designated locations throughout the land. There’s also a multiplayer game called “outpost control” allowing you to interact with other guests several times throughout the day!.
Find Your Favorite Instagram-Worthy Locations
At Galaxy’s Edge, there is no shortage of awesome, exotic locations that lend themselves to the perfect photo! Disney PhotoPass photographers are on hand throughout the land to take professional photos of your visit or you can simply use that smartphone to grab some Instagram-worthy selfies! Some of our favorite locations include next to the Millennium Falcon, in front of the TIE echelon in the First Order Cargo area or in front of the X-wing Starfighter in the Resistance encampment.
Punch It Chewie-style On the Millennium Falcon
Get ready to fly the biggest hunk of junk in the galaxy as you take the reins of the Falcon in groups of six. Each person is assigned one of three critical roles to complete their mission, and you’ll know it’s your turn to act when buttons light up in the cockpit!
