1. Festive Holiday Decor at the Disneyland Resort Hotels
Whether you visit Disney’s Grand Californian Resort, Disneyland Hotel, or Paradise Pier this holiday season, one thing is for sure – festive decor will be everywhere you look!
At Disney’s Grand Californian Resort, Guests will find a Craftsman-style tree complementing the design of the hotel. “it’s a small world” is the them at the Disneyland Resort. And, at Paradise Pier, its starfish garland draped on an underwater themed tree for a beachy holiday setting.
2. Grand Gingerbread House and Holiday Treats
Make sure to include a stop at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort this holiday season to see a giant gingerbread replica of the resort. Standing 7-feet tall and 12-feet wide, the replica of this Disneyland Resort Hotel is made from 600 pounds of gingerbread, 600 pounds of powdered sugar, 250 pounds of fondant, 1 pound of “pixie dust” and 25 hidden Mickeys! To satisfy your sweet tooth, treats are also available for purchase at a nearby holiday cart.
3. Grand Gingerbread House Experience
You can learn to build your own gingerbread house from the pros at the Grand Gingerbread House Experience. During this holiday time experience, Guests can work with the resort’s pastry chefs to make a miniature gingerbread house, wear a souvenir apron and enjoy hot cocoa and cookies.
This experience is offered on select days from November 30 to December 22, 2019 at the Storytellers Cafe inside Disney’s Grand Californian Resort.
4. Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures, Holiday Style
What is better than a Disney Princess breakfast? How about a holiday-themed Disney Princess breakfast! And that’s exactly what Guests can experience this holiday season at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels.
Napa Rose is currently offering a three-course brunch hosted by several Disney Princesses with a dozen new Winter Holiday menu items including orange scones, a Tangled Ham and Cranberry Cheese Sandwich, Mini Chicken and Mickey Pumpkin Spice Waffles, Ariel’s Under the Sea Peppermint Shells and Frozen Gingerbread Cake Pops.
In addition to a delicious menu items other activities include story time, a private portrait location and premium keepsakes. While this breakfast is offered year-round from 8 am to noon, Thursdays through Mondays, the Winter Holiday menu is only available from November 29, 2019 to January 6, 2020.
5. A Very Merry Holiday Tea at the Disneyland Hotel
Over at the Disneyland Hotel, Guests are invited to an elegant afternoon team at Steakhouse 55. Offered on select days from now until December 31, 2019, the tea features savory scones, tea sandwiches, desserts and more.
If you can’t make the tea this holiday season, it is also offered for other events throughout the year including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, summer and Halloween.
6. Santa Claus and Holiday Carolers at the Disneyland Resort Hotels
It’s not the holiday season at the Disneyland Resort Hotels without Santa Claus and Carolers! Santa will be at all three of the Resort Hotels from November 28 to December 24, 2019. Guests are invited to sit on Santa’s lap and let him know your holiday wish list. Carolers will also be on hand at the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel from December 15 to December 25, 2019. At Disney’s Grand Californian Resort, Guests will be treated to Handbell Carolers from November 23, 2019 to January 5, 2020.
7. In-Room Holiday Celebration
Looking to deck the halls of your Disneyland Resort Hotel room with some adorable holiday decorations? Then, make sure to add on the in-room holiday celebration to your vacation package. The in-room celebration includes a holiday banner on the hotel room door, luminaries that give a warm glow throughout the room, and a collection of gifts. 8. Complimentary Holiday Animation Cel Class for Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests
If you are staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels this holiday season, you are invited to take part in this complimentary class! The Holiday Animation Cel Class offers Guests the chance to be like a Disney Ink & Paint artist while painting Santa Mickey or Minnie. In addition, Guests will learn about the hand-drawn history of the Disney hand-drawn animation cel process. The class is taught in Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel and is recommended for those ages 6 or older. Supplies are provided but make sure to register in advance as spots are limited.
9. Extra Magic Hour for Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests
Like always, during the holiday season, Guests staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels are treated to an Extra Magic Hour with their valid theme park ticket. The Extra Magic Hours offers Guests park admission to a designated theme park one hour earlier than the general public.
