If you’ve never been to Disney’s Fort Wilderness and Campground to check out the Tri -Circle-D Ranch then you don’t know what you’re missing! For nearly 50 years this working ranch has been an essential part of Walt Disney World. Home to “The Happiest Horses on Earth” you are well looked after by an expert team of ranch hands, veterinarians, blacksmiths and nutritionists the ranch offers horseback riding lessons, trail rides and more! You’ll also find a wide range of stunning horses including Quarter Horse, Percheron, Paint, Gypsy Vanner, Clydesdale, Belgian, Appaloosa, Arabian and Shetland ponies.
As we previously mentioned here at MickeyBlog, the Tri-Circle-D Ranch has moved at Fort Wilderness from Bay Lake all the way up near the front entrance of the resort. By the Spring of 2020 the NEW and improved Tri-Circle D Rance will be transformed with a beautiful new barn and pasture area!
As the sun sets on this chapter of Tri-Circle-D Ranch, we look forward to its bright future and many memories to come. The Cast at Fort Wilderness, and even a couple of our ponies, recently signed a beam that will go into the new barn.
