The Holiday are in Full Swing at the Disneyland Resort
It’s officially the most magical time of the year at the Disneyland Resort as the holidays have arrived! Guests visiting from now until January 6, 2020, will be treated to seasonal magic, festive traditions, and so much more at the Merriest Place on Earth!
New for 2019 is “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” in Disneyland California Adventure Park. During “Mickey’s Happy Holidays,” Mickey is joined by your favorite Disney and Pixar characters as they dance along to high-energy music led by the beat of Holiday Toy Drummers. This celebration occurs two times a day in Paradise Gardens Park and Carthay Circle.
Returning for 2019 at Disney California Adventure Park as the holidays are celebrated at the Disneyland Resort is the Disney Festival of Holidays. This event invites Guests to celebrate the sights, sounds, and tastes of Christmas, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, as well as Three Kings Day from January 3 to January 6, 2020. Guests can also get festive during the Disney Viva Navidad Street Party featuring colorful live entertainment.
Don’t forget to stop by Cars Land and see what the popular residents of Radiator Springs have done with Route 66 for the holidays at the Disneyland Resort. And, finish your day with “World of Color – Season of Light” that dazzles Paradise Bay with showstopping lights, lasers, water, fire, and hundreds of fountains bringing animation to light.
Of course there is holiday magic at Disney Park as well! Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle dazzles with shimmering icicles and twinkling light during the day and night.
For your iconic holiday parade at the Disneyland Resort, there’s “A Christmas Fantasy” parade. The parade features Mickey, Minnie, Disney Princesses, and Santa along with floats music, and marching toy soldiers.
When the sun goes down, “Believe… in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular will light up the sky while enchanting Guests of all ages – especially during the snowfall finale.
During the holidays at the Disneyland Resort, a few popular attractions also feature a holiday overlay including “it’s a small world” Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday.
