10 Ways to Add a Bit of ‘Frozen’ Magic To Your Walt Disney World Visit
With Frozen 2 officially hitting theaters on November 22nd, we expect the second round of Frozen fever to hit just in time for the holiday season. If you’ve got Frozen obsessed little ones and are planning a visit to Disney World, you’ll no doubt want to find fun ways to incorporate Elsa, Anna and the rest of the gang into your visit. Not to worry, Walt Disney World is brimming with ways to create Frozen-focused itineraries!
Here are some of our favorite examples:
Frozen Ever After – Epcot
Let’s start with one of my favorites. Disney’s ONLY Frozen-themed ride can be found nestled toward the back of the Norway Pavilion. This fun boat ride takes you through many of the key scenes from the original film including a journey to Elsa’s wintry ice palace! Lines for Frozen Ever After can long so try and hit it first thing in the morning or consider using a Fastpass. Alternatively, book an 8am Princess Dining Experience at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall also in Norway. Though the character dining experience DOES NOT include visits from Anna or Elsa you will get to mingle with many of Disney’s other much-loved princesses and it puts you in a great position to be near the front of the Frozen Ever After line when the park opens!
Meet Olaf at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
During your Hollywood Studios visit be sure to take some time to meet everyone’s favorite snowman – Olaf! You can find him at Celebrity Spotlight (near Star Tours and Backlot Express) where he’ll be on hand to give out warm hugs and pose for the perfect holiday snap! He’s usually available from 9 am – 9 pm each day!
Anna and Elsa Makeovers – Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique – Magic Kingdom or Disney Springs
If you’re visiting Walt Disney World with a little princess then a Fairy Godmother makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a Disney rite of passage! Packages can include everything from a simple manicure and up-do to the complete package with hair, make-up a gown and every princess accessory imaginable. You’ll find an array of Anna and Elsa options including gowns, tiaras, boots, sceptres, jewelry and more! Appointments are hard to come with booking opening up 180 days in advance. Secure your spot as early as possible by contacting your travel agent , booking online via My Disney Experience or calling Disney directly at 407.WDW.STYLE.
See Frozen 2 at Disney Springs
For an extra-special dose of Disney magic why not see Frozen 2 while at Disney? There is a massive AMC theater at Disney Springs giving you the perfect opportunity to check out this hotly anticipated sequel in-between dining and window shopping and Disney World’s downtown district! It’s also a pretty swank theater featuring plush seating, Dolby cinemas and 6 theaters even offer a dine-in service so you can enjoy your dinner while watching the film!

See Anna and Elsa at the Festival of Fantasy Parade – Magic Kingdom
If you’re visiting Magic Kingdom for the first time then you should definitely take time out of riding the rides to enjoy this spectacular afternoon parade! This is Disney entertainment at it’s best with magnificent floats featuring many of your favorite Disney characters. This includes everyone from Captain Hook to Rapunzel! And of course, it wouldn’t be a parade with Anna and Elsa who are on hand to wave to the crowds!
Quick Tip: For awesome sightlines, without having to line up hours in advance I recommend staking out a spot in the HUB near the Main Street Train Station, from here you get a fantastic vantage point, miss the Main Street U.S.A crowds and if leaving right after the parade are right near the exit!
Meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus – Epcot
In the Norway Pavilion in the general neighborhood of the Frozen Ever After attraction, Ann and Elsa are tucked away in a cozy nordic cabin waiting to meet with some of their favorite fans! Kids will love this royal welcome as well as the chance to share a warm hug. Lines for this meet and greet can get log so best to do as early in the morning as possible. Anna and Elsa usually start meeting guests at 9:00 am until 8:45 pm.
A Frozen Holiday Wish – Magic Kingdom
“A Frozen Holiday Wish” features Anna and Elsa in a seasonal show on the Castle Forecourt Stage. With special appearances by rugged mountain man Kristoff and lovable snowman Olaf, the show culminates in Queen Elsa using her incredible powers to present a gift to everyone in the kingdom, transforming Cinderella Castle into a glimmering ice palace for the holidays.
“A Frozen Holiday Wish” runs nightly throughout the Holiday Season!
“For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
One of the things that Hollywood Studios is known for is their awesome stage shows and this one should be at the top of the list for ANY Frozen fan. This production, with some help from Arendelle town historians, takes guests through many of the key scenes of the original Frozen film. What makes this production extra special is that guests are encouraged to sing along! The show features appearances by Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and more. Elsa even has a wintry surprise for visitors at the end. The Frozen Sing-Along has several performances throughout the day. With the way the current Hollywood Studios FastPasses are tiered, this is also a great Group B option!
