Path of the Jedi Theater at Hollywood Studios Getting Mickey-Themed Overhaul
As we reported at the start of the Fall, the theatre at Hollywood Studios that previously housed screenings of Path of the Jedi is getting a Mickey-style facelift!
The theatre will soon be transformed to the Mickey Shorts Theater. Disney has been a bit tight-lipped about what exactly will go on this new space but we think it’s safe to say that it will tie in nicely with Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway which will open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the Spring of 2020.
As you can see from photos taken from our visit today to Hollywood Studios, construction walls are currently in place around the theater.
As a matter of fact, when we were there two cast members were trying to figure out a way to seal up a gap in the wall to avoid any early sneak peeks of the Mickey-themed surprise that awaits!
For guests attending “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Singalong Celebration”, not to worry, the gift shop that sits next to the upcoming Mickey Shorts Theater is still open for business with its range of Frozen-themed merch.
