Jingle Cruise Is Back at the Magic Kingdom
It’s the most wonderful time of the year Disney friends and with that comes one of our favorite holiday overlays! During the festive season, Adventureland’s much-loved Jungle Cruise undergoes a magical transformation becoming the Jingle Cruise. We are pleased to let guests now that this fun Christmas-themed take on the classic tongue-in-cheek river ride experience is officially at Magic Kingdom!
The theme starts the moment that you approach the queue for the Jungle Cruise. Jingle Cruise signage is now in place with garlands and Christmas lights galore!
You’ll also see lots of decorations on display as you weave your way through the line! As the backstory for this holiday overlay goes, the Skippers the man the boats on this exotic adventure are homesick for the holidays! To add some Yuletide cheer they have decoration the attraction queue and boathouse with homemade decorations, gifts and items from back home!
As you can see from the image above, the boats have even temporarily been renamed with funny holiday monikers! You also won’t be surprised to know that the Skippers who are always up to hilarious hijinks have also thrown some seasonal jokes into their usual narrations.
The fun continues throughout the attraction where it appears that the rides local residents have gotten into the Christmas goodies a bit early!
You’ll see lots of presents around as you meander down the river!
As well as a lot of holiday monkeying around!
Even our favorite shrunken head salesman Trader Sam is getting in on the fun!
Don’t miss your chance to enjoy the fun-theming and holiday laughs during your visit to Disney World! A word to the wise though, lines for Jingle Cruise can be longer than usual this time of year. That may make it a good candidate for a FastPass! Or if you’ll be heading to the park for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party it is one of the rides that remains open!
