Daisy Ridley Tells Us How to Avoid Star Wars Spoilers
I had to laugh when I saw this one, as Daisy Ridley (Rey in Star Wars) delivers a devastating deadpan.
When answering the rhetorical question “How do I avoid Star Wars spoilers?” Ridley said:
“Log out of your accounts. Turn off your devices. And avoid internet cafes.”
Look Out In The Philippines: Star Wars Spoilers Are Coming
LRMonline.com’s Campbell Clark pointed out:
Star Wars Philippines yesterday shared a social media post, which contains a video of Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac warning fans to stay off the internet for fear of spoilers, as the movie releases later there than everywhere else, by a whole 24-48 hours. The video also shows a small amount of new footage we hadn’t seen in previous trailers, though it is minuscule, check it out.

Since the latest trailer hit, it has become apparent that the vast majority of the rumored leaks for this movie are legit. These began getting seriously detailed around a month ago, to the point where the majority of the plot (not all of it), sans any dialogue, has been leaked by three independent sources across a variety of web-based sources. I do wonder if this has had an impact on Star Wars, making a video warning people to stay away from spoilers? Maybe they just really are concerned about Philippines’ fans being spoiled in a couple of days it will take for them to get the chance to see it?
Are You Spoiler Averse?
I am okay with spoilers.
In fact, when I saw The Force Awakens, I am thrilled I knew that some patricide would happen when it did. That is mainly because when I saw Revenge of the Sith (re-watch review coming) — even when I knew the Jedi purge was coming — I didn’t expect so many Jedi deaths to come in swift succession.
But what about you? Do you mind spoilers, or do you look to avoid everything about an upcoming movie? Let us know in the comments.
