The Animation Experience Shows Off It’s Villainous Side at Animal Kingdom
It may surprise some guests to find that Animal Kingdom Park holds the secret of how to bring your inner animator alive. But it makes perfect sense. Real life animals have served as inspiration for many of our beloved Disney movies and cartoons. The Animation Experience at Conservation Station features a talented Disney animator gives you step-by-step instruction on how to illustrate your own version of a popular Disney character.
Previously, guests have learned how to draw Simba, Zazu, Pumbaa and Timon, as well as furried and feathered friends from other classic Disney films. But now, just in time for the Halloween season, Disney is introducing characters who find themselves as the antagonist in highly popular Disney films.
While Scar and Ed from Disney’s “The Lion King” will remain as one of the six characters in rotation, beginning Oct. 18, you can put pencil to paper and learn to draw from Disney•Pixar: Bruce from “Finding Nemo” and Hopper from “A Bug’s Life”; ShereKhan from “The Jungle Book” and Tic Toc from “Peter Pan.”
Each 25-minute class will offer something different, so be sure to keep coming back for more! Worried about securing the best spot? Disney FastPass+ is available at this location.
