Have a Frightfully Fun Time at Disneyland Paris This Halloween
This Halloween, the spooktacular fun isn’t just limited to Disneyland and Walt Disney World. As a matter of fact, Disneyland Paris is brimming with frightful fun!
Highlights of this year’s Halloween festivities including bewitching decor on Main Street U.S.A with pumpkins, ghosts and enchanted decorations. Head over to Sleeping Beauty Castle where Disney Villains have been known to mingle during the spooky season or take to the Royal Castle Stage for a spooky new show featuring Mickey and the gang!
Rumor has it that the nefarious sea-witch Ursula will even be on hand to perform her famous anthem, “Poor Unfortunate Souls. ” In addition, a brand-new track called “Are You Brave Enough?” was specially created for the new Disney production and serves as the official theme song of the season.
The return of Halloween also means the return of Mickey’s Halloween Celebration. Highlights including the Mickey’s Illusion Manor float, featuring the zombies of Phantom Manor and Mélanie Ravenswood in her wedding dress. Disney characters will also join in the celebration, including Donald, and his much-loved nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie. Also, be on the lookout for Daisy and the Three Little Pigs.
And speaking of Phantom Manor, this iconic attraction has a few new spooktacular surprises following its re-opening earlier this year after the attraction’s biggest renovation project ever. And let’s not forget The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror which as we here at MickeyBlog reported yesterday, has a hair-raising new twist with dazzling special effects and new thrilling drop sequences.
In addition to the Villains at Sleeping Beauty Castle, you’ll also want to be on the lookout for other familiar Disney characters ready to meet guests in their Halloween Costumes. This includes Minnie, Stitch, Goofy’s son Max and the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
The Halloween Season is also the perfect time to bring your appetites with treats to suit all tastes, from Cruella cupcakes to Disney Villains shortbreads. Thanks to a tasty collaboration with Belgian chocolate maker Pierre Marcolini, guests staying in select Disneyland Hotel rooms during the season will also find a ‘trick or treat’ box of chocolates waiting for you.
