Video: Chef Jet Tila Talks Asian Cuisine With a Twist at This Year’s Food & Wine Festival
Chef Jet Tila is on a mission to dispel the mystique surrounding Asian and Pan-Asian cooking. You’ll probably recognize him from his many appearances on TV cooking shows on the Food Network and the Cooking Chanel. Chef Jet has garnered a reputation for adding a modern twist to time-tested recipes picked up during his formative years in LA’s Thai Town, ChinaTown, KoreaTown and Little Tokyo.
Chef Jet’s family is credited with opening the first Thai grocery store and restaurant in the United States and Chef Jet personally has created multiple Asian and PaN-Asian restaurant concepts throughout the US in addition to writing two books – 101 Asian Dishes You Need to Cook Before Your Die and 101 Epic Dishes with his wife Ali.
Check out this clip of Jet discussing his experiences at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
The 24th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival runs from now to Nov 23, 2019. The Disney culinary event of the year is brimming with incredible bits, sips, entertainment and Family fun. A great starting point is the more than 30 festival marketplace that extend from Future World to throughout the World Showcase.
During the Fest, Chef Jet will bring his culinary expertise to both the Party for the Senses on October 5th and also participated in the Food & Beverage Pairing that took yesterday. Let’s take a look at both events.

Specialty Dining and Pairings
