The tournament, considered one of the best early-season college basketball tournaments in the country, has traditionally attracted basketball heavyweights such as Villanova, Michigan State, Kansas, Georgetown and Michigan.
This year’s field includes two teams ranked in ESPN’s Top 25 pre-season poll (No. 9 Maryland & No. 25 USC), plus Davidson, Fairfield, Harvard, Marquette, Texas A&M and Temple. The three-day tournament is played over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and players get to spend free time enjoying the Disney theme parks and attractions and are also treated to Thanksgiving dinner.
