Cookie Stroll and New Menu Items Revealed For This Year’s Epcot Festival of the Holidays
With Fall just a few days away, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas and the fun festivities that await visitors to Epcot’s annual Festival of the Holidays! This event celebrates Holiday storytelling, offers incredible concerts, awesome merch, and so much more. A highlight of each year’s fest is definitely the Holiday Kitchens plus the 25 additional food and beverage locations brimming with Holiday goodies. This year, Disney is also introducing a new Cookie Stroll.
Here are some juicy tidbits about both!
Holiday Kitchen Highlights:
Here at MickeyBlog, we recommend starting off your tasting journey with Slow-Roasted Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and Cranberry Sauce at American Holiday Table!
Between Morocco and France pavilions you’ll find the NEW Smoked Salmon Potato Latkes at L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen.
While at L’Chaim! also be sure to sample the Pastrami on Rye with House-made Pickles and Deli Mustard which is a favorite with the holiday crowds.
This year there’s also incredible new dishes to discover including Canadian Wild Rice and Ham Soup with Pretzel Roll at the Yukon Holiday Kitchen. The Kitchen will also be bringing back the Seared Verlasso Salmon with Crown Maple Whisky Glaze, Parsnip Silk, Apple Chutney and Hazelnut Croquant which was popular with guests last year!
NEW Holiday Cookie Stroll
This new offering gives guests a chance to explore the festival while sampling the baked goodies offered at several Holiday Kitchens. Similar to the Food & WIne Festival’s Cheese Crawl, visitors can choose any five cookies (at the locations below) featured in your Festival Passport, collect matching stamps and receive a complimentary Santa Mickey Sugar Cookie at the Holiday Sweets & Treats location. The kitchens participating in this year’s crawl are as follows:
- Bavaria Holiday Kitchen: Linzer Cookie
- American Holiday Table: Gingerbread Cookie
- Yukon Holiday Kitchen: Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie
- Feast of the Three Kings: Chocolate Crinkle Cookie
- L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen: Black and White Cookie
If you’re caught with your hand in the cookie jar, don’t worry! You can purchase a Cookie Stroll Cookie Jar at one of the World Showcase Holiday Markets while supplies last!
We don’t know about you but this post has us officially excited for the Holiday Season! Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for the latest Festival of the Holidays news and updates!
