Hurricane Jerry Causes Itinerary Changes to September 21 Sailing on the Disney Fantasy
Tropical Storm Jerry has recently been upgraded to hurricane strength. Although this storm poses no threat to Disney World at this time, it does pose a threat to the September 21st Disney Cruise Line sailing on the Fantasy. The Eastern Caribbean islands are supposed to get tropical storm and possibly hurricane force effects over the next few days. The itinerary re-route is as follows:
- Itinerary to visit ports in the Western Caribbean.
- Instead of visiting Tortola and St. Thomas, the ship will now visit Cozumel, Mexico, on Monday,
- George Town, Grand Cayman on Tuesday and
- Falmouth, Jamaica on Wednesday and
- Castaway Cay on Friday
It’s still too soon to predict with confidence whether or not Jerry will affect the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Bermuda or the mainland United States. We will keep you updated as we know more.
