A Guide to Disney+ for Pixar Lovers
The launch of Disney+ is going to be a treasure trove for Pixar fans when it opens in the US on November 12, 2019. For the first time ever viewers will have access to all of your favorite Disney and Pixar titles all in one place including the record-breaking office hit Toy Story 4. The network will provide ad-free programming, original feature-length films, documentaries, live-action and animated shows and short-form content.
Here’s a look at some shows Pixar lovers simply won’t want miss:
Forky Asks a Question
Forky (voiced by Tony Hale), a crafts project created from trash in Toy Story 4, has important questions about how the world works, such as: What is love? What is time? What is cheese?” Watch Forky explore these mysteries and more in a series of 10 shorts.
Lamp Life
Speaking of Toy Story 4 spin-offs, this all-new animated short film centers on Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts) and finally answers the questions regarding why she was M.I.A. during the events of Toy Story 3.
Monsters at Work (Year One)
The series from Disney Television Animation takes place six months after the events of Pixar’s Monsters, Inc., and follows Tylor Tuskmon, a talented mechanic who works on the Monsters Inc. facilities team but dreams of working his way up to the Laugh Floor. The series marks the return of original cast members Billy Crystal, John Goodman, John Ratzenberger, Bob Peterson, and Jennifer Tilly. New cast members include Ben Feldman, Kelly Marie Tran, Henry Winkler, Lucas Neff, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Stanton.
SparkShorts (Available at Launch)
This Pixar Animation Studios short film series will spotlight new voices in Pixar animation and explore new storytelling techniques. To get taste fans can currently view three of the titles—Purl, Smash and Grab, and Kitbull online!
