All The Important Thing We Learned About Frozen 2 at D23
As you know this past weekend was the D23 Expo in Anaheim which was brimming with all sorts of wonderful Disney announcements including some interesting insights into Disney’s upcoming sequel to the iconic film Frozen. Here are a couple of juicy tidbits we learned about one of the most anticipated films of the year!
Exciting Casting News: Sterling K. Brown will voice Lieutenant Destin Matthias, and Evan Rachel Wood Queen Iduna (Anna and Elsa’s mother)! Here’s a quick look at both characters:
Anna and Elsa are also featured in a brand-new poster that will take your breath away:
Seven New Songs: During a special D23 Panel Event Frozen Directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck shared some never-before-seen footage of Queen Iduna signing “All is Found” to Young Elsa and Anna. This will be one of seven all-new original songs written for the movie by Oscar-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Other musical numbers showcased during the event include “Into the Unknown” which is inspired by Elsa’s yearning for answers from the past as well as “Some Things Never Change” which was actually performed at D23 by Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad.
