Neil Patrick Harris to Host ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’ Special in September on Freeform
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be featured in a 2 hour special on Freeform called Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Adventure Awaits, offering viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the new lands at Disneyland in Anaheim and at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Neil Patrick Harris is hosting the special, with help from special celebrity guests such as Kaley Cuoco, Keegan-Michael Key, Jay Leno, Sarah Hyland, Miles Brown, and more.
In the segment, we will get to see how the planet of Batuu came to life. Harris and Key meet up for a few drinks at Oga’s Cantina and takes a tour of the new land, Leno gets to explore the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, Cuoco gets a special sneak peek of the much-anticipated attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and Hyland gets to create her own droid while learning about the tensions between the First Order and the Resistance.
The special is part of Freeform’s “30 Days of Disney,” which will feature different themes each week, such as villains, singalongs, pirates and “sheroes,” beginning Sept. 2 with “Villains Week.”
