Tips for Making the Most of the Epcot Food & Wine Festival
Planning to visit the Epcot Food & Wine Festival this year? Then, I have some tips that you will not want to miss! This year’s festival will span 87 days from August 29 to November 23, 2019 making it the longest running in festival history! So, make sure to pack your bags and your appetite and check out these tips to a magical visit.
Stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel
If you are looking to make the most of your time at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival, then staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is a must! For an added bonus, stay at one of the three resorts that are walking distance to Epcot’s International Gateway. These resorts include Disney’s Beach Club Resort (my personal favorite), Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. This will save you so much time getting between the Resort and the festival.
Enjoy a Culinary Experience Like No Other at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival
As I said, make sure to pack you appetite for the Epcot Food & Wine Festival! With over 30 Global Marketplaces, all attendees will be able to enjoy a sampling of international food options along with sips of fine wines, beers, and other drink concoctions from around the globe.
Pro Tip: Make sure to add a Disney Disney Plan to your Walt Disney World Vacation Package. During the Food & Wine Festival, snack credits on the dining plan can be traded for most tastings. Also, one quick service snack credit can be exchanged for three snack credits!
Rock Out and Eat at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series during the Epcot Food & Wine Festival
The Eat to the Beat Concert Series is back for another year during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. With it brings a total of 249 concerts featuring performances from Newcomers this year include Lauren Daigle (“You Say”) on September 9 and 10 and India (“Mi Mayor Venganza”) on October 5 and 6. Sugar Ray (“Fly”) returns September 30 through October 2, as well as Taylor Dayne (“Tell it to My Heart”) October 3 and 4.
Pro Tip: To take advantage of guaranteed seating for each concert, book a reservation for the Eat to the Beat Dining Package. Each package includes a breakfast, lunch, or dinner at select Epcot restaurants.
Enjoy a Candy Sushi Making Class by Adventures by Disney
Looking for some hands on action during the Epcot Food & Wine Festival? Then, make sure to sign up for the popular Candy Sushi classes. This class for kids of all ages is offered inside Sunshine Seasons and teaches Guests to turn sweets into creative maki- or nigari-style rolls. Classes are offered every day during the Festival at 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm and are only $10 per Guest. Reservations are highly recommended.
