Check Out This Donkey Singing ‘Circle of Life’ from ‘The Lion King’
When Travis Kinley purchased Nathan the donkey for $100, he never knew he had a viral sensation on his hands. But, after you see this clip of the two singing “The Circle of Life” from the “Lion King” together, you will see why it was $100 well spent!
Ever since Travis purchased Nathan, they have been the best of friends. Travis told WKYC – 3, “I got him from about the North Carolina, South Carolina line. He was causing some trouble at someone else’s house and I just picked him up for $100 bucks, he seemed alright with me.”
Travis went on to add, “You can always tell he’s a thinking animal. He’s just playful, that’s just in his nature.”
That playful side definitely came out after Travis, with some urging on from his friends, gathered Nathan along with some horses in his pasture to sing the popular “Circle of Life” from the hit movie, the “Lion King.” Check it out here:
“So, I got in the pasture, I gather all horses…. I start singing and Nathan starts to bray behind me, and I’m kind of blown away because we never do this together; we never sing together,” Kinley said. “He keeps going, so I keep going, and all of a sudden I just kind of break down laughing at the end.”
Travis said all but one of his horses was impressed with the “Circle of Life” rendition. Hey, I guess you can never please everyone!
