Disney Skyliner Opening Date Officially Confirmed by Disney
It’s official! Disney has just announced the Disney Skyliner opening date will be on September 29, 2019!
Once open, the Disney Skyliner will transport Guests between Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot as well as Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and the new Disney’s Riviera Resort which is set to open in December of this year.
Other than having a new transportation option around the Walt Disney World Resort, I am excited about the adorable gondolas that will be floating in the sky. Some of the gondolas will feature graphics from our favorite Disney movies, attractions, and characters including the following:
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse
- Pluto
- Chip & Dale
- “Coco”
- Goofy
- Pete
- Horace Horsecollar
- Clarabelle Cow
- the Haunted Mansion
- “Monsters, Inc.”
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- “Ratatouille”
