Yes, you read that right! There is one way (other than that coveted FastPass) to ride Flight of Passage with little to no wait times. Purchase a ticket to this special event at Walt Disney World and you will have access to Flight of Passage and several other Aninal Kingdom attractions. See Pandora transform into a bioluminescent rain forest and experience Animal Kingdom in a whole new light!
“Toy Story” Comes to Life at Disney H20 Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon
Celebrate the release of “Toy Story 4” and all of the other “Toy Story” movies during H20 Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. The special event at Walt Disney World features a “Toy Story”-themed menu and meet and greets with your favorite “Toy Story” pals. Be on the lookout for “Partysaurus Rex” while you experience a glowing night under the stars at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.
Guests at Magic Kingdom Park show off their sinister sides during the new, limited-access event, Disney Villains After Hours, at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Your favorite Disney Villains are taking over the Magic Kingdom this Summer, and you are invited! This special event at Walt Disney World features villain-inspired treats, party-exclusive merchandise, and an all-new night show called “Villains Unite the Night.” There is even an appearance by Maleficent the Dragon! Little green Aliens from Pixar Animation Studios’ Toy Story films pilot toy rocket ships in the Alien Swirling Saucers attraction in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The out-of-this-world attraction is inspired by Andy’s toy playset from the Pizza Planet restaurant. With multi-colored lighting and sound effects from throughout the galaxies, Walt Disney World guests swirl and whirl in the toy rocket ships while the Aliens try to get captured by “The Claw” that hangs overhead. Stay Up Late at Hollywood Studios
One of my favorite special events at Walt Disney World is Disney After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests at this event can ride all the rides in Toy Story Land, and even take a spin on the Rock n’ Roller Coaster or drop in o er at The Tower of Terror. It’s an event that is not to be missed!
New in 2015, the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” show during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park features the mischievous Sanderson Sisters from Disney’s Hocus Pocus, who throw an evil Halloween party with appearances by Dr. Facilier, Oogie Boogie, Maleficent and other Disney villains, along with dancers, projections and special effects. The Disney After Hours Event at the Magic Kingdom allows Guests to enjoy over 25 Magic Kingdom attractions and character greetings including Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, Peter Pan, and more with little to no wait times.
Get in the Spirit of the Holidays at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in the Magic Kingdom
Those who say it never snows in Florida during the holiday season must have never participated in Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in the Magic Kingdom. During this special event at Walt Disney World, there is no shortage of holiday cheer with Yuletide traditions and of course, your favorite Disney characters. The 2019 edition of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will also feature “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” – an all-new holiday fireworks spectacular.
