Soarin’ Over California To Stay Open 1 Hour Later for Annual Passholders
How’s this for a Passholder perk? Several weeks ago we here at MickeyBlog reported that Disney’s Soarin’ Over California would be coming back to Disney California Adventure this Summer for a limited time only! The beloved attraction that shares the sights smells and sounds of some of California’s most breathtaking vistas will once again be wow-ing crowds until August 31st! From now until July 31st, Annual Passholders even have a chance to see it without the crowds!
That’s right! According to a recent report in O.C. Register every Thursday night during the date range above, the attraction will remain open one hour after close for the exclusive use of annual passholders. This means you can enjoy Soarin’ in its original splendor without the long lines or hot temperatures!
As most Disneyland fans will know, Soarin’ Over California was replaced by Soarin’ Over the World back in 2016. In its original format, some of Calfornia’s most breathtaking scenes such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe and more were projected onto an 80-foot screen while clients were lifted up to the screen giving you the feeling that you are gliding over these beautiful scenes.
The only downside is that blackout restrictions will apply! However, if your pass does give you access this month it’s definitely worth checking out. After this limited return who knows when if ever Soarin’ Over California will be shown again!
