Epic Look at Donald’s Dino Bash in Animal Kingdom
It’s been over a year since Donald invaded Dinoland USA and turned it into a prehistoric party, but only now is his takeover really heating up! In the continued effort to find Dinoalnd USA an identity that makes sense with the Park’s other themed areas, Donald’s Dino Bash was introduced. The Bash combines new character costumes, special meet ups, and a DJ-led dance party!

If you’re wondering why in the world you would spend any time out of your Animal Kingdom day at the Bash, you clearly don’t have children! The party was definitely derived with kiddo’s in mind, although I had a pretty great time cutting a rug with Chip and Dale myself! Before you embark on another Animal Kingdom adventure, find out if Donald’s Dino Bash is for you!

Whether you’re 6 or 60, meeting up with your favorite Disney characters never loses its luster. Every time I get a hug from Mickey or Pluto feels like going back home, but meeting the same character over and over does not make for an interesting and always-changing Facebook profile picture.

My favorite part of Donald’s Dino Bash are the character’s new outfits! For the first time, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip and Dale will be rocking all-new, prehistory-inspired attire…and you can snap as many photos as you like! Donald and Goofy have specially designated meet-and greet areas. PhotoPass photographers will be on hand to capture the moment professionally!
Dance the Day Away

Pluto, Chip, and Dale are also part of the fun, and they’re all sporting bright new threads too! Your chance to meet these pals presents itself in a form of communication that translates from no matter what part of the world- or part of prehistory- you hail…dance! A live DJ hosts daily dance parties right in the heart of Dinoland. You can shimmy and shake to the tune of your favorite classic hits with your favorite character by your side!

Morning, noon, or night, you can’t miss Donald’s takeover of Dinoland USA. Even when the DJ isn’t blasting out tunes, the décor around Dinoland USA is unmistakable. It’s clear that this Bash was designed with the youngest of kids in mind, and getting them in the mood to party is easy with the countless banners, statues, and decorated areas located throughout Dinoland USA.

Like I said, I sure had a blast joining the dance floor, but my moves couldn’t compete with the pint-sized guests dancing around my legs! Although the themeing of the Bash doesn’t fit with the themeing of Animal Kingdom at all, I can (almost) overlook it for one reason: this is by far the best activity for preschoolers visiting Animal Kingdom!

If you’re visiting Animal Kingdom with a youngster and they’ve started to grow tired of waiting in 4-hour lines for attractions from a film they’ve never even heard of, take them to Dinoland USA! With characters galore and a dance party built just for them, every youngster will love Donald’s Dino Bash in Dinoland USA!
