When I first started doing movie reviews, I very quickly learned that is really hard to rank films; especially good ones.
So, these days, I try to give my opinion without a numerical value, and leaving lots of wiggle room for readers to make up, and keep, their own opinions.
That said, it takes a lot of guts to rank — all of — the films of one of the most beloved studios of all time – Pixar.
Seventeen Magazine Ranks the Pixar Films
So, when I ran across a list of Pixar’s films at Seventeen.com, I had to dive in.
In 1995, after signing a production deal with Disney, Pixar premiered the first computer-animated feature-length film with the release of Toy Story. Many years and movies later, Pixar continues to be one of the leaders in animated movies. As their films constantly break records and change the way that animators are able to create and tell stories, fans of all ages fall in love with the new characters and worlds that they keep creating…
It’s hard to rank Pixar films, especially when they are so good and each have their own reasons why these deserve to be on top. Some of them have made a major impact on our world, while others just helped us remember the joy of being a kid.
