Disney to Debut New ‘Rivers of Light: We are One’ Starting This Summer

Animal Kingdom joined the rest of Disney World’sr theme parks when it’s nighttime offering “Rivers of Light” which made it’s debut two years ago! To celebrate, Disney has recently announced plans to update this dazzling nighttime water pageant. ‘Rivers of Light: We Are One” is set to debut this Summer.

Guests will still be able to enjoy the beautifully illuminated lantern floats, the grand theatrical imagery and soaring music that have made this a popular attraction for visitors. “We are One” will add to this nighttime magic by introducing stunning imagery and familiar animal characters from Disneynature films along with a colorful tapestry of classic moments from Disney animation. The underlying theme of the show will be our connection with animals and the emotions and milestones we share in our journey through the circle of life.

The music of “Rivers of Light: We Are One” will combine the existing score with familiar Disney themes to create a powerful and emotive arrangement that carries visitors along on a voyage of discovery, fun, friendship, fear, love and family

The new updates to “Rivers of Light” are slated to debut at the Discovery River Amphitheatre at Disney’s Animal Kingdom beginning Memorial Day Weekend!
