8 Ways to Pamper Mom at Walt Disney World This Mother’s Day
We are officially under a month away from Mother’s Day (May 12th) and for those lucky enough to be visiting Walt Disney World with mom this Spring there is no shortage amazing ways to honor the woman that raised you! As a matter of fact, hang onto this article and surprise your mom with one of the special items on our list any time of year!
1. Wine Bar George Brunch
Wine Bar George, the brainchild of Master Sommelier George Milliotes has quickly become one of our favorite places to brunch at Disney Springs. This is mainly due to awesome drinks like the delicious Dole Whips Mimosas expertly crafted with Moscato, Dole Pineapple and Prosecco and bites like the Artisinal Cheese Board with four cheeses, honeycomb and grilled bread. Another highlight for those with a sweet tooth is the French Toast made of brioche and topped with mascarpone and caramel sauce. Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm and reservations can be made online or by calling 407.WDW.DINE.
2. Character Makeovers
I can’t think of a better activity for mothers and daughters to enjoy together at Disney than getting an awesome character makeover at select Disney resorts! You and your mom can be transformed into your favorite Disney princesses, villains or other loveable characters as part of a Character Couture package offered at Disney’s Coronado Springs, Disney’s Grand Floridian, Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club and Wilderness Lodge. Packages start in the $80 for a simple updo and go up to $120 for manicure and make-up. You can make reservations at one of the salons listed above by calling 407.939.7727
